We are a union of graduate workers at the University of Alaska (UAA, UAF, and UAS), including Research Assistants, Teaching Assistants, Fellows, and Student Assistants. We're unionized under the umbrella of United Auto Workers who represent over 100,000 academic workers.
In 2024, we won our first contract, securing better pay, better benefits, and better protections for graduate workers at UA.
